Anganwadi Solar

Anganwadi Solar

Bring reliable, free solar electricity to your local Anganwadi or early childhood centre — powering lights, fans, a projector, and phone charging so children can learn and carers can work every day without an electricity bill.

Nirmaan Organization has deployed over 100 institutional solar systems across India, including schools, healthcare facilities, and community spaces. Their solar portfolio generates 800–1,075 units of clean electricity daily across all sites, saving institutions up to ₹2.6 lakh per month collectively.
A standard 3 kW on-grid Anganwadi system covers all activity-hour loads: 8–10 LED lights, 2 fans, a TV or projector, and phone charging. Systems with battery backup (3 kW + 10 kWh LFP) can extend coverage to evening crèche hours and even power a refrigerator for vaccine or nutrition storage. Parent groups and SHGs provide natural, community-rooted stewardship that has proven critical to long-term system performance.
