I work in Adult Education and also as an advocate for young people in West Cork. I am interested in empowering people of all ages to engage in activities that enhance their lives and some of those activities could be inter generational. I want to bring The Way We Were Project to my area which is very rural and can be isolated for older people, with a view to setting up a U3A group to organise other activities in this area. Looking forward to getting this up and running! How do I go about getting a Mentor? Thanks, Finola
I work in an adult education college and participate in home and community care support services organized by an external team of alumni and elderly residents in long-term care homes and their organizations in Ottawa Ontario, to offer minimum services to a hundred of patients & residents who receive the highest-quality health care and services at home every Tuesday and Thursday for 2hrs per visit. I am interested in serving for people of all ages to engage in intergenerational activities, programs and services for:
Homecare and seniors to improve engagement, maintain physical, mental health, work performance and achieve goals,
building a cadre of caregivers who have the skills and knowledge to cater to the unique needs of the vulnerable, but lacked opportunity and a service to join and get more engaged,
To create moments of joy, self-expression, and connection with those facing life-altering health challenges and inclusion to life insurance, financial and non-financial services,
I want to collaborate to bring The Way We Were Project and services to my country ( Canada & back home country of Origin) by starting with the area of my residence.
We will setting up web app and a group to organize other activities in this area. Looking forward to getting started and running in collaboration.
