"Welcome to the Solar Education Community! We look forward to working with your school." - Matthias Schmuderer, Founder
Teachers can determine the duration of class time to explore each topic. Both the Explorer Kit and the Electric Cube may be used in a full-length class, allowing each pupil to experiment themselves with the kit and cube.
Is your school looking for interactive content about sustainability and photovoltaics? Content that represents the energy transition in a positive and emotional way? You are in the right place.
Our educational package includes the following elements:
- 2 Explorer kits, description: https://www.solarbildung.org/en/solar-forscherset
- 2 Electric cubes, description: https://www.solarbildung.org/en/elektrowuerfel
- Free access to all our primary school lessons (6 currently) for all the teachers from the school, overview: https://www.solarbildung.org/en/lektionen
More details can be found in our website. If this project is of interest to your school, which we very much hope, then please apply as a first step.
If your project is approved, the team behind Solar Education will reach out to arrange your kit delivery, and to share their experiences using the kit, cube and lessons in class. They will also answer all clarification questions that you might have.
Make sure you have all the necessary materials to begin the project and review the resources for the Explorer-Kit and Electric cube - Instructions for each project can be found at the bottom of the page.
Follow the steps in each lesson plans to facilitate interactive learning. Encourage discussions, hands-on experiments, and group activities to enhance understanding.
After completing the lessons, discuss key learnings with students and explore ways to integrate more renewable energy topics into the curriculum or community projects.
