REScoop Community Energy Groups

REScoop.eu is the European federation of energy communities, representing 2,500 initiatives and two million citizens across 31 countries. Founded on cooperative principles, it works to ensure citizens have an active role in the energy transition — generating environmental, social, and economic benefits for their communities in the process.
REScoop.eu's work spans four areas: policy advocacy at EU and national level, capacity building for emerging and established communities, communications, and organisational development. It runs thematic working groups on financing, flexibility, heating and cooling, citizen-led renovation, and gender and inclusion — creating dedicated spaces for peer learning and cross-border collaboration.
