Girls Who Code is an international nonprofit leading the movement to close the gender gap in technology. We've reached 500 million people through our online initiatives and 300,000 girls through our programming. Of the girls we've reached in person, half come from historically underrepresented groups in tech. We have 80,000 college-aged alumni. And our alumni are majoring in computer science at a rate 15 times the national average.
How to get involved
Time:
Once you start the GWC application process, your application will be processed within a few days. You'll need to commit anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours a week to the ongoing management and success of your GWC Club.
