Education for Sharing brings innovative play-based learning to elementary schools, empowering teachers to develop students' social-emotional skills whilst teaching UN Sustainable Development Goals through engaging games and activities.
E4S was founded in 2007 by Dina Buchbinder Auron with the mission of forming better global citizens through the power of play. The organisation has achieved remarkable scale, working across Mexico, the United States, Guatemala, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Cuba.
The methodology follows a simple but powerful framework: play, reflect, and take action. This approach has earned recognition from prestigious international organisations including HundrED and has been validated through rigorous impact evaluation using baseline and endpoint surveys.
Rosa María Gómez, Principal of Heroes de la Naval Elementary School in Mexico City, shares: "The methodology significantly integrates teachers who are taught and trained in the same way as children: through play. This empowers our teaching methods by introducing us to an innovative approach that allows us to address complex topics with our students."
The programme includes special community sessions where children share their learning with families and the broader school community, creating ripple effects that extend far beyond the classroom. Teachers receive ongoing support throughout the six-month implementation period, ensuring successful adoption and long-term sustainability of the methodology.
