REScoop.eu Community Energy Groups

REScoop.eu is the European federation of energy communities, representing 2,500 initiatives and two million citizens across 31 European countries. Founded on cooperative principles, it works to ensure citizens have an active role in the energy transition — generating environmental, social and economic benefits for their communities in the process.
REScoop.eu's work spans four areas: EU-level advocacy, capacity building for emerging and established communities, communications and organisational development. It runs thematic working groups on financing, flexibility, heating & cooling, citizen-led renovation and gender & inclusion — creating dedicated spaces for peer-to-peer learning and cross-border collaboration.
