Sustainable Greenhouse Systems

IWA connects you with the power of education, sustainable greenhouses and bioenergy through plant photosynthesis, so that you can learn, create and lead change in your community, building the future of your dreams where education and innovation meet, transforming territories and giving light to your ideas.

5 Step Guide to

Sustainable Greenhouse Systems

Overview

Sustainable Greenhouse Systems "This project not only seeks to impart technical skills, but also to cultivate a sense of curiosity, creativity and environmental responsibility from an early age. Together, we can sow the seeds of meaningful change and build a path towards the comprehensive development of children and their communities." - Paola Carmona Castaneda

Resource Checklist

Time

The course is 6 hours per week, distributed in sessions that allow participants to thoroughly explore key engineering, technology and sustainability concepts. Once students have all the necessary materials, the 40 hours will be completed in 7 weeks. This modality offers a balanced approach, allowing participants to progress at an accessible pace while ensuring a deep understanding of the topics.

Order the kits and purchase the necessary materials:

Participants will receive instructions in a first online session with instructors and participants to order their kits and learn about the list of materials needed to implement the project.

Important: Purchase of materials will only be made after approval of the project by ChangeX.

To facilitate learning and building the bioenergy system and the greenhouse, participants will have multiple resources:

📹 Video tutorials: Available on a learning platform and on the IWA website, where you can access detailed step-by-step explanations.

🖥️ Online sessions: At least 6 hours per week of live support to resolve doubts, delve deeper into concepts, and receive personalized advice.

📲 WhatsApp Group: A space for quick questions, exchange of ideas and ongoing support between participants and instructors.

All of this will ensure that you have the best guidance at every stage of the project. 🚀

Do practical and fun activities:

At this stage, participants will put their knowledge into practice using the kit. To guide them through the process, they will have:

📖 Detailed guides with step-by-step instructions.
📌 Electrical/electronic schematics and drawings for precise assembly.
🛠️ Advice on materials and structures , guaranteeing proper construction.
🔬 Support in experiments , resolving doubts and optimizing results.

With these resources, participants will be able to thoroughly understand how the system works and develop their skills with confidence. 🚀

Start up the greenhouse and make adjustments

With the greenhouse built, it is time to put it into operation and make sure everything is working properly. To do this, participants will be able to:

🔧 Perform initial tests to verify system performance.
⚙️ Adjust parameters and settings according to project needs.
📊 Evaluate its operation and document necessary improvements or adjustments.
💡 Explore its benefits and share findings about the process and its impact.

This step will ensure that the system is optimized and ready for use. 🚀

Celebrate learning and reflect:

Participants will have the opportunity to show their constructions, explain how they work and share their learnings. To do so, they will be able to:

📸 Document your process with photos and videos of the assembly and tests performed.
📝 Describe your experience , highlighting the benefits of the kit and the knowledge you have gained.
⚙️ Analyze the operation , explaining how they have explored the system and its applications.
💬 Exchange ideas and improvements with other participants, promoting collaborative learning.

This space will allow us to assess the impact of the project and continue innovating together. 🚀
