Composting these materials significantly reduces emissions and creates nutrient-rich soil. Unfortunately, many areas lack accessible composting services.
Background
Inspired by a successful community composting project in the US, this initiative aims to bring people together to reduce waste and improve local environments. By partnering with a local composting company, communities can collectively divert organic waste from landfills and contribute to a more sustainable future.
How to get involved
Time:
As the organizer you’ll need approximately 3-4 hours a week to get the project up and running, and from then on just an hour a week to maintain it.
