We want to provide our children with the tools and understanding to build a solid foundation of sustainability and climate knowledge.
Our vision is that this knowledge gained at a young age will resonate in adulthood and correlate with increased ability to address local and global challenges and contribute responsibly within society.
Specifically, we offer curriculum-oriented materials and teaching units for all types of schools, grades and subjects from MINT to geography and ethics.
The independent, non-profit and donation-financed Solar for Schools Education's gGmbH was founded in Munich in 2021. The purpose of the company is to promote education (according to § 52 Para. 2 Clause 1 No. 7 Fiscal Code AO), to promote environmental protection (§ 52 Para. 2 Clause 1 No. 8 AO) and to promote development cooperation (§ 52 Para. 2 sentence 1 no. 15 AO).
How to get involved
Time:
The time spent in class can be determined by the teachers themselves. We offer a science kit, a solar kit, and teaching units from 30 minutes to 6 hours. The science kit, for example, offers 4 different experiments of up to 45 minutes each in the physics room.
