Earth Pick Up was created to create a clean Earth together with citizens. So far, 27,530 participants have participated and 114.87 tons of trash has been collected. At least 10 members are gathered, a plogging kit is prepared, and Earth Ssdam is conducted. The data obtained through this is checked and shared, and the severity of the waste problem is confirmed. Earth Pick Up supports participants to contribute to local cleanup activities, and starting Earth Pick Up is a step toward the Earth. Of the approximately 172 million cigarettes sold per day in Korea, 114.55 million are illegally dumped. In addition, when fireworks are launched at the beach, the small plastic cartridges containing gunpowder are torn and fall on the beach, flowing into the sea. According to the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, 5 to 6 bullet shells were found per 100 meters of beach in 2021.
